Stamford Pride is a community-rooted nonprofit that engages, inspires, supports, and celebrates LGBTQIA+ community through initiatives that educate, connect, and enrich our diverse community. We’ve been showing up since late 2019, and we’re not stopping anytime soon.
From book clubs to art exhibitions, professional networking to authentic space training — we create space for everyone. Not just in June. All year long, right here in Stamford.

We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in late 2019 to engage, inspire, support, and celebrate LGBTQIA+ members and allies in Stamford, Connecticut and surrounding Fairfield County. We produce year-round community events, authentic space training, a juried art exhibit, and our ongoing LGBTQIA+ History Project.
Definitely not. We run programming all year — book clubs, networking events, 40+ social dinners, author talks, art exhibitions, and more. June is special, but community doesn't take the other eleven months off.
We're an independent local nonprofit. We collaborate with amazing partners like the Ferguson Library and Triangle Community Center — but we're proudly homegrown, not a chapter of a national org.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, and more. We use LGBTQIA+ (with IA+) to reflect the full spectrum of identities in our community. Language evolves, and we're committed to keeping up.
