Tell Your Story with Stamford Pride aims to capture the experiences of LGBTQIA+ people and allies who have lived, worked, prayed, or played in Stamford.
Together, The Ferguson Library, Stamford Pride, and PFLAG Stamford are building a living archive of Stamford’s LGBTQIA+ history. By sharing your story, you’ll help preserve our community’s experiences and ensure future generations can learn from them. Selected stories will be featured during National LGBTQIA+ History Month each October.
Need help getting started? View our Story Prompt Brochure for ideas and suggested questions. Answer only the prompts that resonate with you, and consider noting the approximate time period and location(s) of your story.

We can’t wait to hear your stories! Submit by August 31, 2026 to help ensure that we can include your story in this year’s Stamford Pride October LGBTQIA+ History Month events and communications.
